Government Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
Child Care Subsidy is designed to make access to childcare more available to families. CCS is paid directly to the service by the Australian Government.
Families are required to make payment of their childcare fees by paying the difference between the daily fee and the subsidy amount (commonly known as the gap fee).
CCS is means tested based on combined family income, the fortnightly activity of families and eligibility requirements apply.
