About
Welcome to Little Explorers
Little Explorers Early Learning is an independently owned and operated Early Childhood Service operating since 2020. Our vision is to create a service that represents the needs and values of the local community and the families that live within Eaton and surrounding areas.
Caring for the environment and embedding sustainable practices is an important part of our philosophy. We aim to embed this into our daily routines and practices ensuring we are also educating the children to become socially responsible, show respect for their environment and develop an understanding of our valuable natural resources.
We have a passionate and experienced team dedicated to providing quality education and we strive to create a Centre that exceeds standards by engaging in high quality practices. We understand the huge faith and trust you put in us when leaving your children in our service and we take responsibility of caring and educating young children very seriously.

Our vision
To provide the highest quality of education and care in a safe, family feel environment which allows children to naturally develop through engaged learning, play based experiences and positive interactions.
Our philosophy
At Little Explorers Early Learning we understand how unique each child is and know the impact that the first five years can have on a child’s emotional, cognitive, physical, social and personal development.
We believe every child is entitled to be provided a safe, caring and nurturing environment that also allows them to be stimulated, educated and have fun. Our aim is to equip every child in our centre with the tools they need to help them succeed in all aspects of their lives by complementing the work done at home and continue that education and support throughout the day. We encourage children to embark on a journey of self-discovery and learn how to problem solve and develop skills such as effective communication, expressing to others their feelings and emotions and any wants, needs, thoughts and ideas.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which our centre stands and the diverse community that surrounds us.
With such a diverse community, we ensure children have equal opportunity to learn in a respectful environment regardless of gender, race, ability, economic status, family structure, lifestyle, culture, language or religious belief. We strive to provide a highly positive environment where all staff, children and families are made to feel welcome, included and respected.
Our programs are designed to lay the foundations for a child’s future learning and wellbeing using the principles that underpin the Early Years Learning Framework, National Law Act and National Regulations.
We are committed to working within the National Quality Standards and implementation of our quality improvement plan and constantly strive for exceeding practices to be embedded.
Caring for the environment and embedding sustainable practices is an important part of our philosophy. We aim to embed this into our daily routines and practices ensuring we are also educating the children to become socially responsible, show respect for their environment and develop an understanding of our valuable natural resources.
We encourage events and experiences shared with families and the community and understand the vital roles families play as children’s first teachers. We encourage and seek family and community feedback and contribution to our program, as this builds strong reciprocal partnerships to support the children. To achieve this, Little Explorers has an open door policy, where families are welcomed any time, for as long as they need.
We are a privately-owned, family run centre and are committed to the children, families and our team member’s best interests. The centre benefits from having a strong and committed management team, who support the staff to ensure they have everything they need to do the most important job, the education and care of the children.
